Here are some ideas to get started on implementing membership options for your medspa clients!
Subscriptions have blown up in popularity over the last few years. It seems like everyone has at least one recurring payment on their credit card statement. Is your medspa on the trend? Adding in membership programs to your medical spa's offerings can increase profitability and improve customer retention.
New Year, New You!
You likely already have some clients that stop into your spa on a consistent basis. Why not incentivize them to pay for their yearly services upfront, in bulk? You can offer a 10% or 15% discount on a select number of services for the year. You could bundle a monthly service for a 6 month or 12 month period with one free service included in the price.
Count Your Rewards
Create a point system based on money spent or services rendered. You can assign points needed to redeem for services as a reward for services performed. You can design a point system in which a customer earns a set number of points for every $100 spent. Or you can develop a program where each service has its own point value. Points could also be redeemed towards retail. This option can be heavily customized to the rewards your clients would enjoy the most.
Spread the Love
If your clients love your medspa and staff, they probably already casually refer their friends and family to your business. Might as well incentivize them to keep gushing about how much they love you! You can ask the new visitor to name the current client who referred them in order to receive a discount. You could also offer a discount or coupon for customers who post a review on social media.
Once a Month
Say you have a client that loves to stop in almost every month for a botox appointment, set up a subscription type program for those clients. Just like the recurring payment for your Netflix account, you can offer a monthly charge to cover one specific service or one prepaid service out of a short list of offered services. This monthly program could include injections, treatments, facials, wax services, massages and more.
